I had the honor of collaborating with the metal band DAGOBA on the cover artwork for their ninth album, Different Breed. Shawter, the band’s frontman, gave me total creative freedom while guiding me through the album’s central theme. The aim was to design an illustration that reflects the power and duality explored in their music.

Usually focused on characters imbued with humanity, I took on the challenge of stepping out of my comfort zone by dehumanizing my figures, creating a dark and enigmatic piece. This process allowed me to experiment with brutality and strangeness while preserving the subtle emotional depth that defines my style.

It was an enriching experience, blending my artistic inspirations with the universe of Different Breed. The result, I hope, amplifies the album’s force while bringing a new visual dimension to their music.
