Artwork for DAGOBA’s 9th album,“Different Breed”– June 2024

I had the honor of collaborating with the metal band DAGOBA on the cover art for their ninth album Different Breed. Shawter, the band’s lead singer, gave me complete creative freedom while guiding me through the album’s central theme. The goal was to create an illustration that reflects the power and duality explored in their music.

While I usually focus on characters imbued with humanity, I took on the challenge of stepping outside my comfort zone by dehumanizing my figures in order to create a dark and enigmatic work. This process allowed me to explore brutality and strangeness while preserving the subtle emotional depth that characterizes my work.

This collaboration has been a particularly enriching experience, blending my artistic inspirations with the world of Different Breed. I hope the result enhances the power of the album while adding a new visual dimension to their music.
